I have 2 children and 7 grandchildren. All of the grandchildren have travelled in the Series Ill. A highlight was taking my daughter's 4 young children on a "safari" through the bush on their hobby farm. The children asked if they had to bring anything for the safari. They were told that all they had to bring was their imagination. It was grand.

The Series Ill is still on the road today.

The current project is the complete restoration of a 1989 Defender 110. When I purchased it there were 9 seats, a naturally-aspirated diesel engine and a somewhat punky chassis. When completed it will have a galvanized chassis, a 300 TDI engine and it will be a 2-passenger trek vehicle. My plan is to document this process.
